Ballyrina's origins date back to the 1940s, in support of the Swiss internal demand during World War II for ballet shoes. During that period Bally supplied ballet academies with real ballet point shoes that inspired the Creative Director Simone Bellotti and led him to propose contemporary styles of shoes.
